This institute is designed for teachers leaders, coaches, and participants who have actively worked with the Mathematics in the City program and who are interested in exploring the new Mathematics in the City curriculum Context for Learning Mathematics.

Cathy Fosnot will lead the institute. Participants will explore each unit, the sequence of them, the mathematics, and how to use the units with core curricula (such as TERC and Every Day Mathematics). We will develop crosswalks and participants will leave with plans of how to integrate the units with their current core program.

The cost is $400 per participant per grade span (two days per grade span). Participants can take one or all the grade spans. The cost for attending all the grade spans is $1000.
